Brought in my 2018 Chevy Camaro to the dealership to have my transmission checked and diagnosis. My transmission has been shudder and shifting erratic, which has only been getting worse. This is a common issue in the bulletin but I still have to beg for the issue to be fix and twice have tried to resolve the issue as it is under warranty currently. I wait for 3+ hours just to be told they couldnt replicate the issue and try again another time. When I went back to my car I looked at my dashcam recording and I see the technician was driving around with loud music, which doesnt exactly help you find a transmission related issue.
I am sorry to hear of your transmission concerns. I read a copy of the repair order notes, and saw that the tech was unable to establish a concern in any of the different drive modes. I did see that you felt that the music volume was high in the vehicle. The techs are advised not to touch any entertainment controls, unless they are deemed unsafe. People tend to be very concerned about settings and they leave the controls as they are found. With that said , I will speak with the technician assigned to your vehicle, the day it was in. By all means, if a check engine light comes, or the situation can be duplicated on a test drive with one of our technicians, we would be happy to set up a follow up visit.
Thank you for coming in to see us and please .. stay safe and healthy out there,
I love coming there. Everyone is very nice. Im sorry but I dont remember the gentlemans name who helped me but he was wonderful. While I was waiting my turn another gentleman came over to make sure I was being taken care of. Also compliments on the waiting area and bathrooms. Spotless! Lets face it car stuff isnt exactly high on my list of things I like to do, but I appreciate that Everyone there makes it as painless as possible lol.
